Congratulations to our Postdoc Po-Ya Angela Wang and Ph.D. student Chungche Huang!

Their paper “Bridging Performance and Pedagogy: A Corpus-Based Analysis of Sectional Achievement and Learner Backgrounds” has been accepted for paper presentation at the 12th International Conference of the Asian Association for Language Assessment (AALA 2026), to be held in Macau SAR, China, from 18 to 20 September 2026.

The work applies corpus-based methods to examine the relationship between sectional achievement and learner backgrounds, connecting empirical performance data to pedagogical implications in language assessment.
